Brow Surgery

The position and shape of the eyebrow are vital in judging facial appearance and expressions. Normally the brow rests above the bony rim of the eye socket in women, and at the level of the bony (orbital) rim in men. Additionally, the tail of the brow typically arches upwards towards the temples. Over time the brow can descend causing a “tired” or “angry” appearance, in addition to causing excess skin folding at the bridge of the nose and outer corner of the eyes.

There are various techniques to elevate the brows, including minimally invasive endoscopic techniques that hide all necessary incisions behind the hairline. Some techniques elevate the entirety of the forehead, while other techniques focus on only the brow itself.
